PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS

At AgriContinuum, we aim to promote sustainable, innovative and locally rooted agriculture. Through the projects and programs we run, we aim to both preserve our agricultural heritage and develop new technological solutions to support rural communities and train a new generation of competitive farmers.

Preserving agricultural heritage

  • Virtual Archive and Virtual Museum: A project dedicated to documenting and digitizing materials about Romanian agriculture, from the Ceausescu period to the present. By collecting and organizing these resources, we aim to highlight the evolution of agricultural practices and to keep alive the memory of the farmers who contributed to the development of this field.

  • Thematic exhibitions and workshops: We organize events in which we present significant changes in Romanian agriculture, together with the stories of the farmers who lived through them. Through debates, workshops and exhibitions, we encourage intergenerational dialog and a better understanding of the factors that have influenced the agricultural sector over time.

Innovation and sustainability

  • Agri-tech innovation lab: In collaboration with research institutes and technology start-ups, we aim to test and promote digital solutions and modern equipment to optimize agricultural processes.

  • Organic and regenerative farming: We are developing pilot programs for farmers who want to turn their business towards environmentally friendly practices demonstrating that protecting the environment and making a profit can go hand in hand.

Education and training for young farmers

  • Courses and workshops: We provide training programs covering topics essential for success in agriculture, such as farm management, agri-food marketing, accessing European funds and using modern technologies.

  • Mentoring programs: We support young farmers with resources, mentoring and networking opportunities so that they can learn directly from professionals and experienced farmers. Through long-term collaborations and best practice exchanges, we aim to create a new generation of farm entrepreneurs ready to meet current and future challenges.

Through these projects and programs, AgriContinuum aims to be a link between the past and the future, between tradition and innovation, ensuring that Romanian farmers have all the necessary resources to develop and contribute to the sustainable growth of the agricultural sector.
